Mid Sussex Supported Housing
Mid Sussex Supported Housing delivers accommodation and support to 55 clients in Mid and North West Sussex.
We provide a supported temporary accommodation service in Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath for vulnerable adults who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Clients are placed for up to 6 months and are supported to gain confidence, maximise income, engage with support agencies, and develop the skills to manage their own homes and move on to longer term secure accommodation.
We also provide properties in Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and East Grinstead for vulnerable adults who can be placed here for up to 2 years. They are supported with daily living skills, managing a tenancy and their finances alongside their wellbeing, through focused recovery sessions with our Recovery Workers.
In addition to the temporary accommodation the service has four flats and two outreach spaces for those that have a history of rough sleeping and require further support. The support is for two years and is focused on enabling people to have the tools to live independently in secure and stable accommodation.
All of our clients are referred directly from the Mid Sussex District Council.
