Project / Department Details:

54 Leyland’s Road is a 6 – bed registered residential recovery service in Burgess Hill for adults with mental health issues.  This is a medium-term residential care home and staff support clients with daily living activities.

In all our services we do not provide personal care but in our residential services you will be expected to administer medication, but full training will be provided.

About the role:

Staff support clients to develop and build on their existing living skills, in order to become more independent and move on to less supported accommodation at the end of their placement.  Staff work in conjunction with other professionals to equip clients with the skills and motivation to become more independent and better able to manage their mental health.

Salary:

The salary is paid monthly in arrears and will be £24,548 pro rata plus an Enhancement for Sleep in payment of £50.25. An employer pension contribution 5.5% is paid. The level of this contribution is reviewed annually.

Hours of Work:

The hours of work will be 15 hours per week, shift working with some evening, weekends, and bank holidays. You are also required to do a sleep-in shift weekly.

Annual holidays:

The annual leave entitlement will be 185 hours (27 working days) pro rata, rising 1 day for each year of service to a maximum of 222 hours (30 days) pro rata. All public holidays are granted.
