Like everything in 2020, our annual Christmas street collection is going online! Each year, our street collections raise over £6,000 to support rough sleepers at First Base, but this year we won't be able to go ahead with the event. Due to Covid-19 the demand for our support has increased dramatically and we are determined to be there for local people in need this winter.
Join us by holding your own Virtual Christmas Collection throughout December to help replace the vital donations we're set to lose from our in-person street collections this year.
Our annual Christmas tin shake has become somewhat of a tradition at BHT, and although we are so disappointed that we can't meet and raise money together this year, we are determined to bring our supporters together virtually to raise much-needed funds for vulnerable people across Sussex.
If you raise £60, this could buy equipment and resources for First Base, our day centre for homeless people.
To join in, simply create your collection page by clicking the button below. From here, select the orange 'Start fundraising' button to set up your page. You can then share the link and start collecting donations into your virtual tin from friends and family. You can collect as an individual, a community group or start a team at work. If you prefer to just make a donation, you can do this by clicking the button below and selecting the red 'Donate' button. The Virtual Christmas Collections will be open throughout December.
