Towards the end of 2024, we were awarded funds by Arts Council England to showcase client artwork in a public exhibition this June. The exhibition is called ‘BHT Sussex in Focus’ and will be a multi-discipline exhibit with both art and written word on display.
The exhibition will run for a week from Monday 2 June. We had planned to hold it at Jubilee Library but sadly this is no longer possible, so we are looking for a new venue - watch this space for updates on this coming soon!
The aim of the project is to encourage clients across many of our projects to express themselves artistically in a variety of mediums such as painting, drawing, collage, poetry and journal writing. Exhibiting their artworks in public view will further boost their confidence.
As well as the exhibition, we will also be putting together an anthology book of artwork featured in the exhibition, as well as other pieces created by our clients. This book will be available to purchase throughout the exhibition.

Sponsor the event
As a charitable organisation, we have a limited budget that we can spend on this event. We are looking for a sponsor who could help us cover the cost of art supplies and promotional materials. As a thank you, we could advertise your business or organisation on our social media accounts which have over 6000 followers collectively. You would also have the knowledge of having directly benefited the local community.
Email comms@bht.org.uk for more information.
Visit the exhibition
The easiest thing you can do to support the exhibition is to visit it! The exhibition opening hours will be published here once the new venue is confirmed. Gather your friends, family or colleagues together to come admire our client’s artwork.
There will also be a launch event on Monday 2nd June. Follow us on social media to hear about what this will entail: Facebook, X, Instagram.
Arts Council England, funded by the National Lottery, fund programmes relating to arts, libraries and museums. We are grateful to have been chosen to be a recipient of funds which will go towards art supplies for our clients to create works for the exhibition.
