The Old Market (TOM) are fundraising for BHT throughout December and January at their upcoming performance of The Animals and Children Took to the Streets.
This is the second year that the theatre has supported BHT in which audience members are able to give a donation at the end of each show. The money raised will fund the essential running costs of First Base Day Centre which provides food, hot showers and vital support services to get rough sleepers in Brighton and Hove into a place they can call home.
Mark Gordon, Marketing Manager at TOM said:
We are delighted to once again be fundraising for BHT. The show will be running from 19 December – 12 January so we are hoping to raise as much as possible throughout this time to help rough sleepers in our city this winter
This week Mark was interviewed on the BHT podcast, BHT Bites, about the show. You can listen to the podcast here.
This is a fantastic opportunity to raise some much-needed funds for First Base, which not only provides some of life’s essentials for rough sleepers but also on-site healthcare and support to find work. We are thrilled to be partnering with TOM once again for what will be a stunning show for all the family
