BHT are looking for volunteers to spare a few hours and help collect donations across Brighton and Hove this December.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, spread some festive cheer and help raise money for First Base Day Centre as well as spreading awareness of the issues facing people who are vulnerable and homeless to the local community.
The collections will be taking place on:
Friday 21 December, 4pm – 7pm outside Brighton Rail Station
Saturday 22 December, 9am – 1.30pm across various sites in Brighton TBA
Volunteers will need to spare a few hours, hold a collection bucket and spread some festive cheer. Some sites will be joined by local choirs and everyone will be encouraged to get involved and sing along to the festive songs. BHT are inviting all volunteers back to the London Road office after their shift for a hot drink and mince pie.
This role would suit a friendly, welcoming person who enjoys being part of a team and working within their local community.
