Service Details

Mid Sussex Supported housing provides accommodation to adults within Mid Sussex who have presented as homeless to Mid Sussex District Council or Crawley Council Borough Council. Within this service is a new scheme providing a high level supported service to a group 0f 6 former rough sleeps in connection with Mid Sussex District Council.

Bank Worker

We are seeking a Bank Worker to join the Mid Sussex Supported Housing team in supporting clients and assisting with the day to day running of the four properties. Clients are placed within the service for up to six months, during this time staff will support clients on their identified needs through support planning with a focus on looking for more permanent accommodation, learning the skills required to maintain a tenancy agreement and ensuring the client is accessing the relevant support for their health and wellbeing.

In addition to the work with clients the role also requires providing an enhanced housing management role focusing on the buildings, rent monitoring and reporting of repairs to ensure properties are maintained at a high standard.

The post holder will be committed to delivering a high-quality service to vulnerable people using person centred and empowering approaches. They will have experience of supporting people with multiple and complex needs. Experience of benefits, housing and accommodation related support for vulnerable people is desirable but not essential.

Salary

Our hourly rate is £10.95 per hour Monday to Friday, this is with an additional 12.07% holiday pay on top of the hourly rate.

Hours of Work

As a part of a team covering the services between 9am – 5pm from Monday – Friday.
