Choir with No Name Performed at Brighton Dome

The festive season kicked off with the Choir with No Name’s sold out Christmas singalong at Brighton Dome. The evening was full of festive cheer as audience members sang along to all the Christmas classics, including a chaotic rendition of the Twelve Days of Christmas, complete with actions. We were also moved to hear the heart-warming stories of what the choir means to its members and the feeling of family it fosters for those who have experienced homelessness and marginalisation.

After the show, BHT Sussex volunteers collected donations from audience members which will help keep the choir running. The generosity exhibited was immense and we collected over £6,000! This money goes towards the running costs of the Choir with No Name.

Christmas collection

As aforementioned, on the last Saturday before Christmas, we took to the very cold streets of Hove to collect for the Christmas appeal for the first time since 2019.

Thank you to all the staff who volunteered their time, wrapped up warm and braved the cold to help collect money from the generous public.
We also had some volunteers from the local community, BHT Sussex board members and local councillors join us.

We managed to raise £X – a testament to the effort our volunteers put in.
